[jira] [Created] (UIMA-2171) Rename package name for UIMA "Vinci"
transport
Rename package name for UIMA "Vinci" transport
----------------------------------------------
Key: UIMA-2171
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2171
Project: UIMA
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Transport Adapters - SOAP, Vinci
Affects Versions: 2.3.1
Reporter: Marshall Schor
Priority: Minor
We maybe should consider changing the package name for the Vinci transport adapter used in UIMA. Its current package is org.apache.vinci ....
Should this be changed to org.apache.uima.vinci ?
And would changing this cause API breckage? If so, maybe we should just leave this alone until someone complains :-).

Marshall Schor resolved UIMA-2171.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
I think it's best to leave this alone for now, to avoid "renaming" churn for our users.
