Since we now require at least node 6 to run, plugin authors can probably just use native promises instead of Q.
Since this pops up a lot since the release of Cordova 9, we should maybe include more information in the error message. It probably would be very helpful to include the call site and maybe a link to a page that explains the error and necessary steps for end users and plugin authors.
