[C3] sitemap components lifecycle

Hello,

I need some entry point into lifecycle of sitemap components - creation, 
configuration.
Especially in a sitemap defined pipeline:
- how it is constructed, how long it lives (many invocations?)
- how construction/pipeline definition is set up - per creation/sitemap 
bound config
- how particular pipeline run parameters are given to components

Any form of where to begin at least :)
