[jira] [Created] (QPID-3942) XID printed as binary form in trace logs

XID printed as binary form in trace logs
----------------------------------------

                 Key: QPID-3942
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-3942
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: C++ Broker
    Affects Versions: 0.15, 0.16
         Environment: All supported OS platforms.
            Reporter: Weston M. Price
            Priority: Minor

Currently the C++ Broker prints the XID for a transaction in binary form:

Example:

2012-03-16 09:14:13 error Execution exception: illegal-state: Branch
with xid \x06\x04\x07

It would be nice to have this printed as something more human readable in order to aid debugging/tracing.
