Re: Rami as WSS4J committer

Can I now commit? I tried to do cvs edit on a file but I got

cvs server: write lock failed - read-only repository
cvs server: cannot make directory
/home/cvspublic/ws-fx/wss4j/src/org/apache/ws/security/message/token/CVS:
Permission denied

I wanted to check in a bug fix in Timestamp.java throwing
ClassCastException when the token element contains spaces and new lines
(basically when the security header is beautified).

Folks,

It's getting difficult to keep up with Rami's patches. I'd say let
Rami work with cvs directly :)

Here's my customary +1 for Rami as a WSS4J committer.

thanks,
dims

Timespamp in WS-Security -- WSI basic security profile draft

Posted by Sanga Viswanathan <sv...@adobe.com>.
Hi,

I had a question related to timestamps. Is the Timestamp element mandatory
according the spec? I m passing UsernameToken and saml assertions in the
WS-Sec header. Do I always have to have the timestamp element to be WSI
compliant. The basic security profile is not very clear in stating this.
More importantly should the server reject the header if the timestamp
element is not found?

Thanks
Sanga
