Here is a list of portlets I saw having rendering problems.
JMS Server Manager (uses just 50% of the available space)
Installed Web Applications (does not wrap up, have to scroll sideways)
Installed J2EE Connectors (does not wrap up, have to scroll sideways)
Installed System Modules (does not wrap up, have to scroll sideways)
Console Realm, both Console Realm Users and Console Realm Groups (uses just 50% of the available space)

let's use the dojo table widget to resolve the scrolling problems. It can also truncate columns and sort/filter on the client side.

"Web Access Log Viewer" uses just 50% of the available space for the "Filter results:" section but the results section itself does not wrap up and the window sz spans horizontally.

I still think it would look a whole lot better if we use the entire portlet space to displaly the info and we already alternate grey gradients to highlight rows.
I think we should go back to use the entire portlet space. With that said, the portlet space should not span over the Web browser window sz. I think the bar should be set to 1024x768 as the minimum window sz, I mean we should not have to scroll using that resolution. (that specially applies to the log viewers)

I limited the size of tables in several of the portlets you mentioned to be just 50% of the available space. This was because they are very small tables (most of them just 2 columns) and it was difficult to view with the columns spread out so much. I personally think this improves usability but I can certainly be out-voted. I'm specifically talkinga bout the JMS Server Manager, and Console Realms views. This was changed since 1.1.1.
The Web Access Log Viewer fitler criteria is not limited to 50% but I think is a fixed size. AFAIK this hasn't changed from 1.1.1.
