[jira] [Commented] (OFBIZ-4388) question to revision 1160539 "add the viewsize and viewindex parameters to the buttons on a list form to remember the paage and pagesize automatically"
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-4388?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=18090172#comment-18090172 ]
Anil K Patel commented on OFBIZ-4388:
-------------------------------------
This issue is no longer reproducible in current trunk.
The root cause — viewIndex/viewSize parameters being shared across all list forms on a page — was fixed by [OFBIZ-1935|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-1935] ("Allow multi-pagination in a page"), which introduced per-form-instance scoping using a paginatorNumber suffix. Each paginated list now gets its own unique parameter names (viewIndex_0, viewSize_0, viewIndex_1, viewSize_1, etc.), implemented in WidgetWorker.getPaginatorNumber() / incrementPaginatorNumber() and surfaced via ModelForm.getMultiPaginateIndexField() / getMultiPaginateSizeField(). A button on list A only carries viewIndex_0; list B reads its own viewIndex_1 — the two never interfere.

> I don't know why do that "automatically". This commit does break something. E.g. We have a list form which has hidden-form style button leads to another list form. If the former list is in page one, then everything works well, but if it's in page two, then you get nothing in latter list form because the "viewindex" of the first list is remembered and transited to the second.
