cluster design on a limited budget

Can anyone provide some assistance in some cluster design recommendations.

I can share the specs I had in mind - and my budget (3-4 servers - total
budget with networking equipment around $20k) and use cases and can ping
you privately if you can offer your opinions share your experiences.

Also had some questions regarding RAID controllers and which ones can be
configured as JBOD.
