## Description
When building MXNet from source and running `lein test` using the locally built jar, it errors out with a lot of `java.lang.Exception: = expects more than one argument`.
## Environment info (Required)
Here is how I build from source (mostly following the instructions from the docs). I could reproduce on Ubuntu 18.04 and 18.10:
1. `git clone https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet.git`
2. `cd docs/install` and then `./install_mxnet_ubuntu_python.sh`
3. installing maven `sudo apt-get install maven`
4. Install Java 8:
```sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt install oracle-java8-set-default
```
5. `cd scala-package` and then `maven install`
6. `cd contrib/clojure-package` and then `lein test`
You should see some errors like this:
