[Discuss][Issue1598] Incorporate ErrorProne into the maven build

Hi all,

I am new to here and created an issue[1] proposing to incorporate Google ErrorProne into the maven build.
In this way, we could catch some problems which could be not detected by maven build.

I am not clear what is the normal process to request a new feature/improvement (not RIP) and I would like to work on this issue if you agreed.

Any comments would be appreciated!
