participating in tomcat development

Hi, I'd very much like to participate in developing
tomcat.  Where should I start?  Can someone please et
me know?

The best way is to start reading the mailing list, fiddling with code and
asking questions. When you think you understand it enough to change things
then find an itch and scratch it ;) ie Add a new feature, remove a bug,
refactor code etc something that you are interested in. Keep in touch with
mailing list just to make sure no one else is working on same bit of code
and eventually when it gets into a workable state submit it as patches
(detailed on the jakarta.apache.org web-pages). Make sure you have fun thou ;)
