[jira] [Created] (YUNIKORN-724) Cleaned-up placeholder allocations
are still reported by Yunikorn
Kinga Marton created YUNIKORN-724:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Cleaned-up placeholder allocations are still reported by Yunikorn
Key: YUNIKORN-724
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-724
Project: Apache YuniKorn
Issue Type: Sub-task
Reporter: Kinga Marton
Assignee: Kinga Marton
After YUNIKORN-521, when a job is deleted, all its placeholders are cleaned up too. Although the pods are deleted, the allocations still persist in Yunikorn. In the logs, I only see "delete pod" and no "releasing allocation" statements.
Steps to reproduce:
# Submit gang job.
# Delete gang job.
# Check rest/ui
Note: this is an intermittent issue. From the logs it seems that the application is completed before all the asks and allocations are removed.
