I was able to replicate Nnmadi and Ormid issues on
I was able to recreate this issue on the machine below:

Manufacturer: HP
Model: Elitebook
Processor: Entel (R) i5
RAM: 8.0 Gb
Type: 64 bit
Windows 7 machine using Open Office 4.1.2

Follow up Tested HarrisW's post:
"the cut-off seems to change as the width of the page changes if you change it
from 113.11" the cutoff is reduced to 20.5", as well the cutoff will continue
to reduce as the page width decreases until it resets back to a cut-off of
about 50".
Tested various page widths, found unpredictable results.
1. Open a new or existing document in Writer 
2. Set the page width to the maximum of 118.11"
3. See the text cutoff at 25.5
4.The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to 113.11" the
cutoff is reduced to 20.5".
5.The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  103.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 10.5".
6. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  98.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 5.5".
7. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  93.11 the
cutoff is reduced to .5".
8. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  88.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 40.5".
9. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  83.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 35.5".
10. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  78.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 30.5".
12. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  58.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 10.5".
13. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  53.11 the
cutoff is reduced to 5.5".
14. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to 48.11 the
cutoff is reduced to .5".
15. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to 43.11 text
goes all the way to the end.  
16. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  45.5 text goes
all the way to the end.
17. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to 45.55 the
cutoff  is reduced to .5".
18. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  45.51 text
goes all the way to the end.
19. The cutoff also changes as the width of the page changes to  45.52 cutoff
is reduced to .5".

ANY PAGE WIDTH OVER 45.51 WILL CUT OFF TEXT
