6.6 Release branch

I believe Ishan wanted to cut the branch for 6.6 tomorrow (May 4).

I'm still working on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-10217,
which I'd like to get in for 6.6. I believe I can finish this up by end of
day tomorrow.

How are other people feeling about the 6.6 release.

Thanks, I fixed the SOLR-10357 CHANGES entry by adding my name.

I have no idea what you’re talking about ^^. (Maybe you were thinking that this JIRA was already part of a release, but it wasn’t: it’s in the 6.6.0 section.)

Looking at the CHANGES file, I noticed one of the entries is missing the author:
https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/blob/efed0277dd3fe9b7e81f260f4f2d4fc023eea50d/solr/CHANGES.txt#L252-L253
SOLR-10357

I am not sure what's the correct steps to fix for that (JIRA is
needed, mention original JIRA, etc?)?

Regards,
   Alex.
P.s. I am also finding it hard to keeping reverse mapping "(ab)" to
"Andrzej Bialecki" in my mind, but perhaps I just need better memory.

I've cut the branch for 6.6. (branch_6_6). Please feel free to add bugfixes
to the branch, if needed.
Planning to build the first RC on 15 May. Please let me know if there are
any objections.

Thanks,

SOLR-10217 is turning out to be too complicated to get done for the 6.6
release. So, I'll hold it back for the 7.0 release. I have some things to
add to CHANGES.txt, which I will to this afternoon, then I'm done for 6.6.

changes, as discussed in the "Solr Ref Guide: Locking Confluence Friday"
