Accessibility strings

Hi,

can someone tell me where can I see these strings
<https://translate.apache.org/pt/aoo40/accessibility/source/helper.po>?
I'm trying to see if the translations fit the space (button size, list
box, wherever they apply). Thank you.

Regards,
Pedro.

You probably are right. I remember something about AOO improvement
program not being used anymore and still existing mentions to it in the
Help files (a Web link if I recall). They exist also in the UI files, so
those would be obsolete as well.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Pedro.

I wish I could...

The strings may actually be obsolete.

Say, "Panel Deck Tab Bar." Based on this explanation
"http://openoffice.2283327.n4.nabble.com/Need-you-help-on-a-string-Panel-Deck-Tab-Bar-td2746154.html"
it used to refer to the "Task Pane" (see
"https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/OOo3_User_Guides/Impress_Guide/Parts_of_the_main_Impress_window")
that has been superseded by the "Sidebar" in AOO 4.x.

The objects is gone but its description lingers on?

Regards,
Aivaras

Hi Jon,

your English is great. It's me that explained poorly.
I'm trying to find in what window, menu, any possible situation, can I
visualize the strings while working with AOO.

Like, for example, where can we see 'Find and Replace'? And the answer
would be:
Menu-Edit-Find and Replace
<https://www.dropbox.com/s/8lcnkrvv9w1lblw/F%26R.png?dl=0>, among other
possibilities, obviously.
But one location would be enough to check if the translation is correct
and fits the space available, to avoid truncated texts, buttons, etc.

The idea is to create some kind of KeyID for dummies like me. I know
there are these texts:

/accessiblestrings.src#RID_STR_ACC_NAME_BROWSEBUTTON.string.text/

But I can't understand to what most of them refer.

Thank you for answering.
Regards,
Pedro.

I apologize for my bad English.
