[jira] [Commented] (YARN-2129) Add scheduling priority to the WindowsSecureContainerExecutor

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-2129?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14026353#comment-14026353 ]

Remus Rusanu commented on YARN-2129:
------------------------------------

One thing to consider is that, due to Windows process priority boost inheritence rules (ie. only lower applies) the boost will not apply to any process launched by the job. Streaming jobs for instance will not get any high boost. This is just how things work on Windows, for better or worse.
