Ran into this issue and was due to a bulk edit not setting the fixVersion correctly. To correct had to open the ticket and click edit and remove the fixVersion and then save and click edit again and enter in the fixVersion again. Using the quick edit on the ticket itself did not resolve the state issue the ticket was in. 

If you can please let me know if this fixes your issue or provide a link or jql to the search you are trying to run
