PMD and bad imports

Here are the latest results of the "bad imports" run by PMD:

xml-cocoon2 34157 9 0.03%
xml-axis 42646 22 0.05%
xml-xindice 13597 9 0.07%
xml-commons 3964 6 0.15%
xml-soap 9085 33 0.36%
xml-xerces 57274 397 0.69%
xml-fop 28599 205 0.72%
xml-rpc 2997 26 0.87%
xml-batik 92545 1041 1.12%
xml-xalan 65945 1427 2.16%
xml-security 12783 361 2.82%

                 363592 3536 0.97%

The primary goal is not to fix all bad imports but to use PMD in the
Apache (XML) projects. PMD can find a lot of "problems" that obfuscate
the code over the years. Fixing these problems is very simple (if you
use Eclipse or IntelliJ) and will increase the code readability. And
the more readable the code is, the easiest it is to contribute.

Regards,

-Vladimir
