Compiling XML::Xerces for Perl on Cygwin

To Whom It May Concern,

I have recently attempted to build the XML::Xerces Perl module for Cygwin,
but I have been unable to do so successfully. The "make" process is
breaking at a certain linker stage, where the Xerces.dll file is being
built. Pages and pages of "Xerces.o(<stuff>):Xerces.cpp: undefined
reference to <stuff>" messages are output along with similar "undefined
reference" messages for the "blib/arch/auto/Handler/Handler.a" file.

I was able to successfully build and install Xerces-C under Cygwin. I
experienced no problems with that.

It seems that I followed all of the relevant build instructions. I set the
necessary "XERCESCROOT," "XERCES_INCLUDE," and "XERCES_LIB" environment
variables and several compilations and linker steps executed without issue
during the early part of the build process.

Am I missing something simple, or should I enter a bug into the
http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/ Xerces-P Apache bug database?

Xerces-C Version: 2.3.0
Xerces-P Version: 2.3.0-4
