Well, if virtual topics will not be supported the way it is supported actually that would be disappointing to many users IMHO. One big benefit is that you can configure it with just one line in the broker configuration and you have dozens topic to queue combinations addressed for now an for the future. It's only about naming pattern. I don't think this gap can be closed with an OpenWire modification.
