[jira] [Commented] (FELIX-3786) Create system package definintions for Java 8

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-3786?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13507072#comment-13507072 ]

Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-3786:
----------------------------------------

I've committed this as a preliminary solution. I don't have access to Java 8 currently, but if you do and want to run bnd on it, we could try to generate a more accurate list (I can give you the bnd file I used to generate the current values, but I have to find it). Or perhaps we should wait until Java 8 is closer to final. You decide. If you are happy with this for now, then close it.

> The framework currently supports Java platform definitions up to Java 7 but is lacking Java 8 definitions. This results in the framework not properly setting up on Java 8 platforms.
> Maybe we could create an interim definition based on the Java 7 definitions and update the exports once the Java 8 platform API stabilizes ?
