[jira] Updated: (GERONIMO-1189) Installer should be built from its own module in assemblies.

David Jencks updated GERONIMO-1189:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: installer.jar

For those with archaeological curiousity I'm attaching an attempt I made to make an installer module that started with the output of our current assembly. There might or might not be anything useful in it for an installer based on something like the assembly plugin.

> Installer should be built from its own module in assemblies.

> Key: GERONIMO-1189
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-1189
> Project: Geronimo

> Components: installer
> Versions: 1.0
> Environment: Maven

> It would be best to build using a Maven plugin. Otherwise, if impractical, use jelly. There seems to be an installer plugin for Maven 2, but not for the current build.
