Xerces error messages
I'm currently working with the 1.2.0 release of the
Xerces parser and am looking for more robust error
messaging. For example, if a value of an
element/attribute exceeds the maximium length as
defined by the schema, the parser will give an error
message stating there is an element with a value
exceeding 'x', however it does NOT specify what
element. This can make debugging difficult at times.
If a required element is missing all together the
parser generally does specify the element name.
Was more detailed error messaging ever added as part
of a bug fix I could download? If not, is there
anyway to currently enhance the error messages I get
or is this planned as part of a future parser release?
