[jira] [Created] (HDDS-872) Add Dockerfile and skaffold config to
deploy ozone dev build to k8s
Elek, Marton created HDDS-872:
---------------------------------
Summary: Add Dockerfile and skaffold config to deploy ozone dev build to k8s
Key: HDDS-872
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-872
Project: Hadoop Distributed Data Store
Issue Type: Sub-task
Reporter: Elek, Marton
Assignee: Elek, Marton
Fix For: 0.4.0
Skaffold is a simple helper tool to
1) Build docker image
2) publish the image to a docker repo
3) update k8s resources files to use the uploaded image
I propose to upload some example k8s resources + skaffold.yaml + dockerfile to make it easier to deploy the dev server to a k8s cluster.
As a first step I would add it only to the hadoop-ozone/dist/src folders (which is not part of the distribution). After some experimental dev usage we can also provide k8s resources as part of the dev build.
