[jira] [Created] (OPENJPA-2324) Option to express literal in query string directly into generate SQL

Albert Lee created OPENJPA-2324:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Option to express literal in query string directly into generate SQL
                 Key: OPENJPA-2324
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENJPA-2324
             Project: OpenJPA
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: kernel, sql
    Affects Versions: 2.1.2, 2.3.0, 2.2.2
            Reporter: Albert Lee
            Assignee: Heath Thomann
            Priority: Minor

Literals in query string is translated into parameters in generate SQL string. This has the advantage of query statement caching but in some use case performance will suffer.

This is a request to provide a query hints to by-pass setting it as parameter but generate the literal in-line into the generated SQL statement for better performance.
