svn:externals with percent twenty

I want to create an externals reference where the local path has a space in
it. I tried

KoBold%20Systems
http://svn-sys.kobold.local/svn/Operational%20Library%20(CBU-OPL)/Templates/
Final/

But when I did an update my working folder had a "KoBold%20Systems" folder
instead of a "KoBold Systems" folder.

What is the correct way of specifying a space character here ?

It looks like this is not currently possible. This is a bug:
