I started the apache in Windows 2000 machine and tried to invoke a jsp
file . I sent the following requests :

http://machine-name:90/:/x.jsp
http://machine-name:90/\/x.jsp

It showed me  a error message 
 
"Apache.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to
restart the program .
An erroer.log has been created" 

I want to know whether it is known issue in Apache 2.0.40 Or it has been fixed .
Please tell me if there is any workaround ???
