Re: Fwd: MODERATE for announce@apache.org

Thanks, Craig. Moving you to bcc.

Aaron -- are the steps to making a release doc'ed somewhere where they
could be updated with Craig's suggestions?

Glancing through the website and the user manual, I don't see an obvious
page covering the steps.

While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.

The documentation about how to make a release is on the Confluence wiki at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/RYA/How+To+Release+Rya

I updated the notes to only generate sha512 checksums and updated the
relevant templates to only mention this checksum.
I created a Jira issue to update the website:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RYA-519

Thanks,
Adina
