refreshing parent page once an External page closes

hey guys,

i have an app written in Tap-3.0 which launches an IExternal page. Once the 
IExternal page is submitted some javascript closes that window,
but i also want it to refresh the parent page. (The external page adds an 
object into a collection which is listed in the parent page).

any help or ideas?
