[jira] [Created] (HELIX-136) Write IdealState back to ZK when computed by custom Rebalancer

Santiago Perez created HELIX-136:
------------------------------------

Summary: Write IdealState back to ZK when computed by custom Rebalancer
                 Key: HELIX-136
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HELIX-136
             Project: Apache Helix
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Santiago Perez

Otherwise we would have to rely on current state and pending transitions to infer previously assigned ideal state. That would require the rebalancer to know about all states when not really needed if all logic can be expressed in term of final ideal states and variations of such ideal state.
