[jira] [Commented] (TIKA-3082) OpenAPI for tika-server

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-3082?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17180017#comment-17180017 ]

Tim Allison commented on TIKA-3082:
-----------------------------------

Thanks to [~lewismc] for taking the time to explain to me the benefits of this proposal.

Thanks to Kaitlyn Liao for all of her work on this patch!

I'm inclined to integrate this change into Tika 2.0.0 as _the_ tika-server module. It won't change behavior for clients, but it will add some great capabilities in making tika-server more accessible.

> bq. I was planning on putting together an OpenAPI specification for Tika. Is anyone in favor of this?
> What do people think? How much will it change the current tika-server? What are the benefits?
