taking, for example, src/documentation/content/xdocs/pm/jdbc.xml as as base, 
would you mind to supply a few lines, where you describe the steps that have 
  been necessary for you?

Also, as this might simplify your own work: The JDBC Generator is creating a 
Configuration.xml automatically. Would you be interested to create a small 
class that does so for you? I could provide you with detailed advice.
