> Having a generic Map<String, String> attribute for all typedefs can make it easier to extend/customize types - especially for purposes like UI rendering. For example, this will enable marking of types that support schema (hive_table) and data-profiling (hive_column, hive_table) - which GUI can use to choose appropriate UI rendering of instances (of these types).
