   @HyukjinKwon Does it really make any sense to introduce such change at this point? If [SPARK-27884](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-27884) is to be followed, it will survive at most two minor versions. Unless Spark developers are committed to supporting Python 3.4 (already end-of-life) and 3.6 (will reach its end-of-life in the middle of 2020)  after dropping Python 2 support.
