AMQP 1.0 support

Hello,

what is the current status and/or plans for AMQP support in ActiveMQ?  The
AMQP page (http://activemq.apache.org/amqp.html) states that the latest
version of AMQP will be implemented in ActiveMQ, and the recent AMQP 1.0
recommendation status
(http://www.amqp.org/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4489238)
appears to be a significant milestone.

Any related information on standards-based messaging protocols would be of
great interest as well.  Thanks.
