Because this layOutversion defines/handles any changes related to chunks/blocks/container data. So, this layOutVersion on whole handles entire Container. This jira proposes to rename ChunkLayOutVersion -> ContainerLayOutVersion. In this way, it will provide a clear explanation of this layOutVersion field.
