[Issue 126353] New: cannot change font size after copy & paste from docx to odt

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126353

          Issue ID: 126353
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: cannot change font size after copy & paste from docx
                    to odt
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 7
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: formatting
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: m.ebner.1979@gmail.com

i cannot change the font size of a word after copying a it from a docx document
and pasting it to an odt document. i found a workaround by marking the text in
odt and pressing ctrl+m.
reproducability:
reproducible on a windows 7 pc with openoffice 4.1.1
NOT reproducible on a windows 7 laptop with both openoffice 4.0.1 and 4.1.1.

--- Comment #5 from Martin Ebner <m....@gmail.com> ---
sorry, i cannot upload the .docx file, because it contains private data. i
tried several other .docx files, but could not reproduce the problem with them.
i also tried to save part of the .docx file to a .doc file, but the problem
vanishes. i have no copy of microsoft word to edit and save the .docx file.

Maybe a font issue. Remember that OpenOffice can't change attributes of missing
fonts.

Could you attach a sample DOCX file to see the problem?

So this Issue may be closed or progressed as necessary - otherwise the issue
may be Resolved as Invalid in the future.

It happens that wrong style informations are inserted via clipboard.
Highlight the text and select Format → Default Formatting.

Please READ my comment.
