Thanks for the patch. Posting here the comments I made on irc. I've tested the patch and posted some updates on my repo :

So ssl is basically works but some tests are failing. When running all tests by clicking on "run" button , lot of tests failed. I'm not sure it's due too ssl though or maybe latency or something related to the reset ?. Running them one by one is better.

Just for the record since it was told on irc ,  ssl certs should be set in config file,

I will try to go further during the weekend and update patch here.
