After upgraded to ambari 2.2, the broker.id is missing from the
server.properties file. Tried to manually update the server.properties,
however it has been overwritten after restart the kafka broker. Thus there
is no way to set the broker.id property.

Is it a bug, or we missed something?

Add broker.ID as custom property in Ambari config. This property may have
been removed as similar questions have come up before
