I made a proposal (or 2) on Dutch Pootle SCSTR_FIELDSEP line. If it happens
that there is not now in summer time enough work force do this little change I
think I can commit it. I suppose I have correct rights in Pootle to do that.

It seems to be an error in the string SCSTR_FIELDSEP in the file localize.sdf
in nl version I see
,\t\t44\t\t;\t\t59\t\t:\t\t58\t\t{Tab}\t\t9\t\t{spatie}\t\t32
in de version I see
,\t44\t;\t59\t:\t58\t{Tab}\t9\t{Leer}\t32

After some private mails, I can confirm the problem. The error does not occur
in an English version, but you see it in a Dutch version. It is sufficient to
install the Dutch language pack.
The error is as described, selecting the item {tab} from the field delimiter
drop-down list, gives the character { instead of a tab in the resulting csv
file.
The drop-down list looks odd. It has some items, which should not be there. I
will attach a screenshot.

This is a support request and no bug report. Please use the mailing list or
forum. So I will close it. Feel free to reopen it, if the following HowTo fails
for you.
How to export:
1. File > Save As...
2. Select filter "Text CSV (.csv)" and check "Edit filter settings". You get
the dialog "Export Text File"
3. From the drop-down list "Field delimiter" choose the item {Tab}. Make sure,
that the other settings are correct too; especially "Save all content as shown"
has to be unchecked in most cases.

Regina / Ristoi,
thanks for stepping in.
I've fiound the conflicting string.
It is due to some superfluous tabs that got into the Dutch trabslation. (As
Regina saw correctly)
I noticed that tose appear when you copy the original English string to the
field for editing
I removed the superfluous tabs and adjusted the Dutch translation. I can't
check if the correction
stnds if the suggestion will be accepted, since I have no acces to Pootle.
As Ristoi did I entered a suggestion 2 (nobody)
In Ristoii's suggestions I see the removed tabs as strikethrough, which is
probably not the solution
@Juergen: please accept suggestiion #2 in segment 2609
(scstring.src#SCSTR_FIELDSEP.string.text)
to see if the suggestion stands. If not I will type the text in the
field for editing instead of copying it from the original text
