Fuzzy String Matching in mahout

Dear All,

Thank you in advance for your help.

I want to implement fuzzy string matching in Mahout.

My question is how? Is there an algorithm in Mahout that can be useful?

I think Lucene would be a better place than Mahout for 
using/implementing Fuzzy String Matching.
