It would be great if it was possible to add/remove a broker connection at runtime via config reload, either modifying the filter or adding/removing elements.

essentially, stop and restart with the new configuration.

related store and forward queues can be managed through address/queue configuration updates. So the lifecycle of the queues is managed independently to amqp connections.

 

With dynamic updates there will be a trade off between adding addresses/queues to existing connections or adding new connections so we will need to support both which is reasonable.
