BML (was: Re: does my project suck?)

FYI: I was the creator of something called BML (Bean Markup Language)
which enabled composition of beans using an XML syntax. We've kind
of shelved it now, but its still available at:
    http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/bml
We provided two implementations: an interpreter and a compiler (into
Java src).
