it is in the vdoclet JAR when I look. Can you delete the vdoclet JAR from your repository and have Maven download it again to confirm?

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MPVDOCLET-1
Summary: Wrong jar for vdoclet in project.xml
       Type: Bug

     Status: Closed
   Priority: Major
 Resolution: CANNOT REPRODUCE

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven-vdoclet-plugin

   Assignee: Brett Porter
   Reporter: Jake Ewerdt

    Created: Tue, 13 Jan 2004 12:11 PM
    Updated: Tue, 13 Apr 2004 9:01 PM
Environment: java version "1.3.1_10"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_10-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_10-b03, mixed mode)

Apache Ant version 1.6.0 compiled on December 18 2003

Description:
BUILD FAILED
File...... file:/home/jake/.maven/plugins/maven-vdoclet-plugin-1.1/
Element... vdoclet:vdocletBean
Line...... 21
Column.... 11
vdoclet/docinfo/QDoxBuilder

After looking into it, project.xml referenced vdoclet-20020711.jar. There is not vdoclet.docinfo.QDoxBuilder class in that jar. However, there is that class in the vdoclet-20030717.jar file and it works when replacing that file in the project.xml.

That vdoclet jar file will also have to be uploaded to ibiblio.
