Why people don't try snapshots: missing link to http://tomee.apache.org/builds.html
Hello,
I often see in the users mailing list posts being replied "have you tried
with the snapshot"?
Question is: how people not subscribing to dev list can be aware of the
snapshot's download page?
I have googled on "TomEE snapshot download", and found this useful page:
http://tomee.apache.org/builds.html
However, unless I'm mistaking, there is no link to this page from
http://tomee.apache.org/, be it direct or indirect.
If it proves true, then I think that a link to
http://tomee.apache.org/builds.html from
http://tomee.apache.org/downloads.html would be the best (because people
wanting to download TomEE go to download page, isn't it ?)
If it proves wrong (ie, there's a link somewhere), then wouldn't this link
be anyway added to http://tomee.apache.org/downloads.html page ?
Thanks,
Alex

FYI, that all this should be implemented now. The "downloads.html" links to an index with all current and previous releases as well as snapshots.
