Thank you very much, happy to work with you.

Let us see what the future brings. I see 3 possibilities: HC, lucene or
TLP. All depends on the community development since user/devs in the end
terming short and midterm goals for the different droids and the project
as whole. There are obviously more components that lucene can offer
since it has a bunch of subprojects already meaning a bigger community
base. However maybe HC can capture a bigger community with the addition
of Droids.

Let us us get in the incubator first and try to leave it soon after.
Then we see where to. I am really glad to have you on the team and
invite everybody here to join too.

That is awesome. I am excited. You may want to review the protocol API
first since you have a much deeper background and will probably need to
make some changes.

Thank you Oleg.

Hi Thorsten

I added myself to the list of initial committers. However, the more I
look at how Droids has been shaping up and what kind of ideas get tossed
around the more I become convinced Droids will outgrow HttpComponents
very soon. So, Lucene seems like the TLP Droids should be going to.

Having said that I still intend to find time to contribute an HTTP
protocol implementation for Droids based on HttpClient 4.0

Cheers

Oleg
