[users@httpd] Loading libintl.so on Solaris 9 with Apache 2.0.45

Does anyone know how to get gettext to load? I am running Apache 2.0.45 and
PHP 4.5.0 on a Solaris 9 Sparc. I have GNU gettext installed. The locations
are here:
 
/usr/lib/libintl.so
/usr/lib/sparcv9/libintl.so
 
I am not sure how to link this to httpd? Any assistance is appreciated.
