[jira] Commented: (COUCHDB-539) couchdb spawns too many processes when system/laptop comes back from sleep.

Robert Newson commented on COUCHDB-539:
---------------------------------------

Is this the cause of the 100% cpu usage when resuming from sleep? I think this is more than "minor" if we're getting millions of Ubuntu users soon. :)

> I've installed couchdb from source and also from ports, when the system goes to sleep and is resumed, After a few moments I see:
> =ERROR REPORT==== 23-Oct-2009::18:23:38 ===
> Too many processes
> [error] [emulator] Too many processes
> Scrolling thousands of times in the window, unfortunately it doesn't happen every time, but the scrollback buffer would need to be huge to catch the original problem (if it was at all visible).
> # couchdb -V
> couchdb - Apache CouchDB 0.9.1
> I'm usually available on freenode as wmealing if you ahve any questions.
