JSR 96, Java daemon architecture

Hi everyone,

There's a new JSR (Java Specification Request) being submitted to define
a daemon architecture for Java. Assuming it gets accepted to be worked
on, I think it'd be good if some folks with an Apache perspective
participated on its expert group.

Information on the proposal and a link to throw in your hat for the
expert group are at:
http://java.sun.com/aboutJava/communityprocess/jsr/jsr_096_daemon.html

-jh-

P.S. If anyone has concerns with this JSR, please email to
jcp@apache.org. We do have a vote on which JSRs are accepted.

Love your work! Have a question. What do you think of the NetDynamics
application server and J2EE applications period?

I get very divergent opinions.

Thanks for any help.
