https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=62407

            Bug ID: 62407
           Summary: Logging
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.4.33
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_ssl
          Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
          Reporter: michael.palata@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Just wasted about 2 hours checking everything multiple times just to find out
that the SSL certificate has the wrong CN.

Not a single log was written, Apache just died immediatelly after start without
loggin/warning/trace8-ing/ANYTHING ...

Step 4 of your Bug Reporting guide states "Looked at the error log. Please
include any related messages in your report, or state that there are none." BUT
THERE WAS NO LOG/TRACE MESSAGE ...

Guys .. please ...

         Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME

--- Comment #1 from Eric Covener <co...@gmail.com> ---
My server starts fine and handshakes with any CN in the configured certificate.
If you debug this further, share a configuration and e.g. strace of startup
and whatever logs do get issued.
